I convened this outstanding group of internationally recognised specialists during my seven years with the Royal Mail Group. Through Carbon Zero Solutions, this same team is now available to help your organisation reduce emissions and cut energy costs.

As Group Energy and Environment Manager for John Lewis Partnership & Waitrose Bill Wright was responsible for the procurement of electricity and utilities. During his 20 year career he was at the forefront of focusing corporate attention on improving the energy efficiency of both the Department Stores and Waitrose supermarkets.

Coca-Cola Enterprises

Coca‑Cola Enterprises (CCE), employs around 4,500 people across its manufacturing sites, regional offices and depots. CCE wished to perform a robust trial comparing the performance of a dedicated gas vehicle running on biomethane against their best-in-class diesel vehicle. CCE, together with their truck manufacturer, engaged with Cenex to provide independent vehicle trial support and validation.

Transforming the Royal Mail Group

In his 7 years as Head of Sustainability with the Royal Mail Group, CZS Chairman Dr Martin Blake, led a team of specialists to craft strategies in areas of transport and fuel economy, building energy efficiency, water & waste efficiency, and ethical supply chain management. By pioneering a new financial modelling approach, they were able to prove the business case to the RMG Board.
